By Air in Western Ireland with Galway

Aer Arann has two flights a day from London's Luton Airport and four a day from Dublin to Galway Airport (GWY). Aer Arann also flies to Edinburgh, Manchester, Lorient, and Liverpool from Galway. Ryanair flies to Knock daily from London's Stansted Airport and from Gatwick Airport; flying time is 80 minutes. BmiBaby flies to Knock from Manchester daily.

Aer Arann has four flights daily on weekdays and two flights on weekends to the Oileáin Árainn (Aran Islands) from Connemara Airport in Inverin. During July and August planes leave every half hour. The flights call at all three Aran Islands. The journey takes about six minutes and costs about EUR 44 round-trip. The airline will book a B&B for you when you book your flight. Ask about other special offers at the time of booking.
