$-$$$, Pizza, Sorrento
Fodor's Review:
This 110-year-old institution actually consists of two eateries side by side differing in tone, cost, and menu. To make up your mind, just look at the two menus outside: while Aurora serves wood-oven pizzas with a choice of 50 toppings, 'O Canonico specializes in home made pasta and fresh fish, complete with a 1,500-label wine cellar. Wherever you sit, you can be assured of the local specialty, Delizia al limone, a rich sponge dessert with creamy lemon sauce. Both sets of outdoor tables look discreetly onto Piazza Tasso in the very heart of Sorrento.
