$-$$$, Seafood, Positano
Fodor's Review:
Several coves away from the Spiaggia Grande, on a little beach where pirates used to build and launch their boats, this laid-back trattoria is a favorite Positano landmark. The pirates are long gone, but their descendants now ferry you free to the private cove, round-trip from Positano (look for the boat with the red fish on the mast named for the restaurant -- it leaves every half hour in the morning; you can also make a steep descent from the main coastal road off the hamlet of Laurito). Sit under a straw canopy on a wooden terrace to enjoy totani con patate (squid and potatoes with garlic and oil), then sip white wine with peaches until sundown. Some diners even swim here -- so bathing suits are just fine.
