Estate Musicale Sorrentina is the main cultural event of the year, offering a bevy of concerts and theatrical entertainments from the first week of July to the first weekof September, many held in the famous Moorish-style cloister of the church of San Francesco. Tickets usually cost around EUR 15 for seats in the colonnade, and EUR 30 in the courtyard; check with your hotel or the Sorrento tourist office (www.infosorrento.it) for schedules and information.
