Fodor's Review:

Some people say there are really three villages on Capri: Capri Town, Anacapri, and this celebrated landmark, which looms large in the island's mythology. Superstar of Capri hotels, the "Quisi" draws the same sort of "didn't-I-meet-you-in-St-Tropez?" guests that wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else, with a celeb-heavy guest list ranging from Ingrid Bergman to Sting. The Quisi's popularity has made it grown like topsy over the years and the decorators do fly the "Large is Beautiful" banner: the lobby is Las Vegas-size, the pool seems ready for an Esther Williams MGM production number, and the convention center here is a jewel designed by noted modernist Gio Ponti back in the 1930s. But the hotel can't be beat for its shiny and luxe restaurants, see-and-be-seen bars, QuisiBeauty parlor, professional service, array of facilities, and location (just down the street from the crowded Piazzetta, this may be too convenient). These days, the Quisisana's legend remains strong: if you want to plug into Capri's network of the rich and famous, one of the best places to start is the hotel's Krug Bar. The fact remains that even though this is Capri's biggest hotel, it is also its hardest-to-get reservation in high season. That's saying something.
