Set amid its own terraced vineyards with inspiring views to the island of Ischia and beyond, this is much more than just a well-reputed restaurant. It has an immaculately kept swimming pool, which is open to the public for a small fee -- a buffet is also served as you lounge here. Located close to the island's finer walks, it's an excellent base for a whole day or longer. There's also a five-room pensione, with free transfer service by request from Anacapri center.

Our favorite meal on Capri

The free shuttle service to and from Anacapri town is available to diners as well as room guests. We enjoyed a beautiful and scenic walk to the restaurant, then took advantage of the shuttle to return to town. Excellent food and of course the views are to die for. And the wine from their own vineyards is very worthy of your attention. A great choice; best to book ahead.
