Procida's ferry timetable caters to the many daily commuters who live on the island and work in Naples or Pozzuoli. The most frequent -- and cheapest -- connections are from the Port of Pozzuoli. After stopping at Procida's main port, Marina Grande Sancio Cattolico, many ferries and hydrofoils continue on to Ischia, for which Procida is considered a halfway house.
Caremar has seven hydrofoils departing from Molo Beverello, Naples (EUR 9.30, travel time 35 minutes), and five ferry departures per day from Molo Beverello, Naples (EUR 6.20, travel time 1 hour). There are four departures per day from Pozzuoli (hydrofoil EUR 4.50, travel time 15 minutes; ferry EUR 4, travel time 40 minutes).
The Procida Lines 2000 ferry leaves six times a day from Pozzuoli (EUR 2.30 Monday-Saturday, EUR 2.80 Sunday, travel time 40 minutes).
SNAV hydrofoils leave every two hours from Mergellina or Molo Beverello, Naples (EUR 8, travel time 35 minutes).
As with the other islands, buy a single ticket rather than a round-trip (there's virtually no saving on a round-trip ticket, which is usually twice the single fare, and it ties you down to one operator on your return).
