If you're looking for a room with a view, stop here, where just about every one has a window that frames the awe-inspiring Duomo or the Arno (some even have small terraces). When it's warm, you can sit on the rooftop terrace with a glass of wine and enjoy a 360-degree panorama. The tastefully furnished rooms, with their high ceilings and sweeping draperies, create a fine backdrop for historic Florence. This is the perfect place if you desire luxe privacy; since it's a residenza, the staff goes home at 7 PM. Charming host Jacopo d'Albasio strives to ensure that all his guests are not only happy, but yearn to come back.
