This 16th-century family palace has been lovingly restored by Ginevra and Filippo Niccolini di Camugliano -- the building has been in Filippo's family for more than 100 years. The sumptuous rooms have high ceilings, spacious marble-floored bathrooms (often a rarity in restored Renaissance palazzi); some are decorated with sweeping frescoes. A few rooms have views of the Duomo (just down the street); others retain their original Empire furnishings. The Blue Suite accommodates up to four, and comes with its own kitchenette.
