Look out onto the tiny Piazza Santa Maria Novella at this pensione, which is close to the historic center. English-speaking owner Luciano Michel and his South African-born wife, Sue, do just about anything to make you feel at home (including providing 24-hour free Internet access). Though it's housed in a 16th-century palazzo, accommodations are simple and no-frills. Ceiling fans make warmer months more bearable.

You will not be able to find any more gracious host than Luciano at the Pensione Ferretti!!! He will go out of his ways to help meet your needs. You will feel so catered and pampered! Stay at this wonderful pensione when you are in Florence and see for yourself!!! Luciano treats his guests with utmost professionalism and kindness. His place is truly "home away from home"!RATING: 5.0
