Annalena Review

The story goes that Annalena, a 15th-century maiden, married a Medici; another man, smitten with her and angry at her refusal to capitulate, murdered her husband and her young son. The devastated widow then turned her private home into a convent. Is it true? Well, it certainly is romantic, as is the former convent, now a pensione, that bears her name. With its high ceilings and spacious rooms, it's a perfect place to unwind. Some rooms overlook a private garden, and one has a private terrace; there are also a handful of triples and quads available.
