This extremely informal trattoria enjoys a distinctive setting: it's built up against limestone rocks not far from the Arco Naturale, with a cave at the back doubling as the kitchen and wine cellar. Whether you stumble over it (and are lucky enough to get a table) or make it your destination after an island hike, Le Grottelle will prove memorable, thanks to that ambience and sea views encompassing the Amalfi Coast's Li Galli islands. The food? Oh, that... the menu includes ravioli and local rabbit, but go for the seafood, with linguine con gamberetti e rucola (pasta with shrimp and arugula) being one of the more interesting specialties.
