A' Cantinella do Cunvento

Fodor's Review:

A short walk down Via Università from the Royal Palace of Portici brings you to this unpretentious ristorante-pizzeria, known to the locals as Da Peppino after its owner-manager Giuseppe. Although crowded at lunchtime with staff from the nearby college, this spot has down-to-earth service and prices that are hardly donnish. The competitive all-in-one price – an incredibly good value – includes first course (pasta or rice), main course (octopus salad is a specialty), and fruit.
