Not far from the Villa Comunale gardens, this is a reasonable, family-run alternative in the pricey Santa Lucia area. Don't pay attention to the haphazard decor; the pizza is excellent, from the ubiquitous basics to such original specialties as the brashly named incazzata, a calzone stuffed with spicy pasta all'arrabbiata (for those who can't decide if they want pizza or pasta). If you do want pasta, try the hearty gnocchi with beans, or the superb house spaghetti with fresh tomato and a perfectly cooked medley of fresh seafood.
