Museo Nazionale Review
The large collection of prehistoric, Greek, and Roman artifacts in this museum include many that were discovered in the immediate vicinity—some in Puglian tombs dating from before 1000 BC. The museum is a testament to the importance of this ancient port, which has always taken full advantage of its unique trading position at the end of the Italian peninsula; you'll find it just over the bridge from the old town.
