On a quiet side street eight blocks from the Vatican and across the river from Piazza del Popolo, this intimate, unpretentious hotel offers genuinely friendly service. Immaculately maintained throughout, it features a garden and sun terrace for breakfast or a relaxed moment. Simple rooms have pleasant, neutral-tone modern furnishings.

The Gerber Hotel: a hidden gem! Ideally located just one block south of the Lepanto Metro station (A Line), this quaint and quiet hotel, along with its friendly and helpful staff, easily made our good trip fantastic! We had a clean, modern and quiet room (though we were given the honeymoon special, so perhaps we got preferential treatment.) The breakfast buffet was plentiful and delicious, and the other guests we met while breakfasting were pleasant and fun. All in all, a perfect TEN, and we can't recommend this hotel more!RATING: 5.0
