¢, Pizza, Trastevere and the Ghetto
Fodor's Review:
Nicknamed "the mortuary" for its marble-slab tables, Panattoni is actually about as lively as you can get. Packed every night, it serves crisp pizzas as well as a variety of tasty bean dishes. The fried starters here, like a nice baccalà (deep-fried codfish), are light and tasty. Panattoni stays open past midnight, convenient for a late meal after the theater or a late movie nearby.
