Step out of this charming hotel and you'll feel like you're literally in the middle of an ancient imperial stomping ground: strategically located a stone's throw from the Forum, it's surrounded by the breathtaking splendor of ancient ruins and relics, and the hotel itself is clean and well run, with air-conditioning, soundproofed rooms, and orthopedic beds. Guest rooms are on the small side, but some of them still have original wooden ceiling beams overhead. If you pay in cash, the hotel will sometimes give you a discount.
