Fodor's Review:
One of Rome's best-kept secrets, Palazzo al Velabro offers refined comfort right in the heart of the Boario Forum, adjacent to the Arch of Janus. Suites, named after Roman emperors, gods and kings, are outfitted with Italian-modern dining and living areas, with touches of marble and framed prints to remind you you're in Rome. The minimum stay here is seven nights.

Don't go when it's hot!

The Velabro would be fine but for one thing. The hotel is located in a residential area and the management is REQUIRED to turn the A/C off at 11 PM. We were there in the hotest May on record in Rome and we suffered at night due to a total lack of ventilation.
