Saddlers Union

Saddlers Union Review

Reborn on the mythical artisan's street, Via Margutta, across the street from Federico Fellini's old house, Saddlers Union first launched in 1957 and quickly gained a cult following among those who valued Italian artistry and the traditional aesthetic. Jacqueline Kennedy set the trend of classical elegance by sporting Saddlers Union's rich saddle-leather bucket bag. Closed in 2004, one of Italy's finest labels is back, representing everything for which Rome leatherwork has become famous. If you're searching for a sinfully fabulous handbag in a graceful, classic shape or that "I have arrived" attorney's briefcase, you will find something guaranteed to inspire envy. Items are made on-site with true artistry and under the watchful eye of Angelo Zaza, one of Saddlers Union's original master artisans. The prices are high, but so is the quality.
