Mail & Shipping in Rome

Mail & Shipping

Buy stamps at any tobacconist, and drop mail in red mailboxes, making sure to use the right-hand slot for service outside Rome. The Vatican has its own postal service, and stamps and mailboxes can be found at its two public post offices, one on each side of Piazza San Pietro.

Overnight Services

Although DHL and UPS offices are far out of the city center, FedEx has walk-in service on Via Barberini; all three companies will pick up packages from anywhere in Rome.
