Da Caino
Da Caino Review
At this excellent restaurant in the nearby town of Montemerano, specialties include tomatoes and peppers on crisp phyllo dough, lasagne with pumpkin, ravioli ripieni di olio extra vergine di olive (filled with extra-virgin olive oil, capers, anchovies, and tomatoes), and such hearty dishes as cinghiale lardolato con olive (wild boar larded with olives). Prices are among the highest in the region; locals consider it a serious splurge.
