Chianciano
Chianciano Review
This walled medieval town, 3 km (2 mi) northeast of Chianciano Terme, is best known for its proximity to the spa town; nevertheless, the well-preserved old town is appealing.
Museo Civico Archeologico. This museum contains a good collection of Etruscan and Roman sculpture and pottery excavated from around the area. Via Dante 80, Chianciano, 53042. 0578/30471. www.museoetrusco.it. €5. Apr.-Oct., daily 10-1 and 4-7; Nov.-Mar., weekends 10-1 and 4-7.
