Castello di Petrata Review

Wood beams and sections of exposed medieval stonework add a lot of character to this fortress built in the 14th century, while comfortable couches turn each individually decorated room into a delightful retreat. Monte Subasio, Assisi, and the distant hills and valleys are in view from most rooms, as well as from the lovely grounds, where a swimming pool is tucked into the lawns and olive groves.
