The owner not only has an optimum wine selection, but also personally selects the best prosciutto and cheeses; the bread comes from the best bakeries in the valley. Hot vegetable soups (lentil, fava, barley) and rabbit casseroles are tasty standards here. The surprise? The owner raises his own pigs, chickens, and rabbits as well as the seasonal tomatoes and peppers that wind up on your plate. Some outdoor seating is by the facade of the Duomo.
