Fodor's Review:

Though the "tiny anchovy" (as the name translates) doubles as a pizzeria, stick to the tasty cichetti offered at the bar, like the eponymous anchovy mini-pizzas. The selection of wines by the glass changes daily, but there are always the ubiquitous local whites on hand, as well as some Tuscan and Piedmontese choices thrown in for good measure. Don't miss the tonno con polenta (tuna with polenta) if it's offered.

Near St. Marks and worth trying

Posted by Debra from New York, NY on 9/4/06

The food here was decent, but not outstanding. The waiters were a little brusque, but Venice was flooded with tourists and this restaurant is quite close to St. Mark's.

Best Insalata Capressa anywhere in Italy

Posted by gms from LA on 8/10/06

Located just a little bit behind St. Mark's Cathedral -- smack in the center of historic Venice -- this is a great place to dine on pizza, insalata capressa and enjoy a refreshing glass of wine. Sit outside and enjoy the hustle & bustle of true Venetian living. Good service & very reasonable prices. All in all -- one of best in Venice.
