Il Caffè
Il Caffè Review
Commonly called "Bar Rosso" for its bright-red exterior, Il Caffè has far more tables outside than in. A favorite with students and faculty from the nearby university, it's a good place to enjoy a spritz—the preferred Venetian aperitif of white wine, Campari or Aperol, soda water, an olive, and a slice of orange. It has excellent tramezzini (among the best in town) and panini, and a hip, helpful staff. New rules force it to close at midnight.
