Il Merletto Review
The best of Burano's renowned lace-making tradition is rarely represented by the examples you'll see on display. However, at Il Merletto, you can ask for the authentic, handmade lace safeguarded in drawers behind the counter. This is the only place in Venice connected with the students of the Scuola del Merletto in Burano, who, officially, do not sell to the public. Hours of operation are daily 10 to 5.
