Art Nouveau lovers, and those simply in search of a non-Venetian hotel in Venice, should consider a stay at this one-of-a-kind place. It was built in 1905, and its fanciful facade and colorful majolica tiles are a glamorous throwback to a bygone age. Simply furnished public rooms have some of the hotel's original furniture; the curvaceous bar is also original. Most rooms, some with furniture dating to the turn of the 20th century, have deep, tiled bathtubs, and prints and photographs of Venice adorning the walls.
