This tiny eatery on the Calle degli Assassini has the distinction in Venice of not serving seafood. Instead you can choose from salads and fresh vegetable dishes; tasty, tender meat courses in generous portions, including the subtly pungent braciola alla veneziana (pork chop schnitzel with vinegar); and an authentic creamy homemade tiramisu to finish. Noncarnivores make their way here as well, as the antipasti and primi offerings are more than hospitable.
