Fodor's Review:
The elegant restaurant of the Hotel Monaco & Grand Canal is a favorite with Venetians, who enjoy eating on the lovely canal-side terrace in summer and in the cozy dining room in winter. All the pasta is made fresh daily on the premises, and the smoked and marinated salmon are also prepared here. The chef's traditional Venetian cuisine is topflight; you'll marvel at savory dishes such as scampi alla Buséra (shrimp in a cognac sauce).
