Fodor's Review:
For atmosphere and location, this hotel is the gem of its price range, but the secret is out, and you will probably need to book months ahead for the sensational view of the Grand Canal and the Accademia Bridge. Rooms differ in size (some are small even by local standards) and decorated in classic Venetian style, with a few whimsical touches such as huge cane armchairs, faux liberty-style lamps, and brocades on the walls. There's no breakfast room, but a small Italian-style colazione (breakfast) of croissants and hot drinks is brought to your room. The Galleria is a few steps away from the Accademia vaporetto landing.
