Fodor's Review:
The name Falier (recalling a former doge) is a bit misleading for this simple, decidedly undogelike hotel. In fact, if it weren't for the red-and-white checked floor of the portego, the decor wouldn't be at all Venetian. Terra-cotta floors and basic wood furniture recall a budget mountain chalet; in most rooms the feeling is enhanced by rustic wooden ceilings and short curtains. Bathrooms are on the small side and have showers only. Views are not great, and the first floor is rather dark. The exception is room 41, with a lovely little terrace set amid the neighboring roofs.
