Pensione Guerrato Review
This welcoming, rambling pensione is housed in one of oldest palaces located in one of the oldest parts of the city: a moment's walk from the Rialto Bridge, the Guerrato is surrounded by markets, cafés, and an energetic atmosphere of vendors, shoppers, and occasional revelers (there are rooms with guaranteed quiet, but you may not have a view). It is family owned and run, and the staff goes out of its way to assist you, with lots of recommendations for sightseeing, eating, and shopping. Furnishings are Early Flea Market; rooms are comfortable, attentively maintained, and spacious enough to easily hold an extra bed or two if you need them. Top floor rooms have air-conditioning.
