Hotels are clustered in the city center, near the train station, and on the Plateau Kirchberg. Staying in the city center is easier if your plans are to wander around the heart of the old city, but the station area also offers numerous restaurants and shops (as well as easy access to the trains). Most hotels offer weekend rates that can be a significant savings. Always ask if the lower rates are available, even if you will be in Luxembourg City during the week. Also, check at the time of booking whether the room rate includes breakfast.
