Set back from the boulevard Royal, the family-owned Rix Hôtel may not look like much from the street, but inside it tastefully combines the charm of the old with the comfort of the new. Downstairs, a crystal chandelier hangs over the bar in the timeless parlor, where breakfast is served in the morning. Upstairs, each room is different, but all have contemporary furniture and standard amenities. This is about the only hotel in the city center offering free parking to guests.
