Museumzicht Review

Most guest rooms have shared bathrooms, but the surroundings may compensate for any inconvenience: etchings hang on the walls, much of the furniture is antique, and the Rijksmuseum looms just outside the windows. You'll be enchanted even before you settle into your room. The cozy breakfast room/lounge and other public rooms are filled with Delft blue tiles, a collection of old pipes, and vintage board games. Note, though, that the hotel is on the top floors of the building, and guests must climb a narrow and very steep stairway to the reception desk and the rooms—the owner highly recommends traveling light.

    Simple, clean and quaint

For the price this is a very nice option -- great view of the museum. The beds were clean and comfortable, shared bathroom was clean and always available. Nights were always quiet (even during high season) and the breakfast in the morning was good and satisfying. Hotel staff was nice and helpful at all times.
