Front rooms in this modest but eye-catching 18th-century canal house have a nice view of the waterway below and some sleep up to five, so are perfect for families. Dam Square, the main shopping streets, and Centraal Station are nearby, as are many restaurants—including two, one Indian and one Indonesian, under the same management as the hotel and offer discounts to guests.
