Warung Spang-Makandra Review
The Indonesian-inspired Surinamese food at this often-cramped local favorite includes those long-time favorites, loempias (egg rolls of sorts). You can also try Javanese rames—a mini-rice-table-style smorgasbord on a plate. The dressed-down interior might remind you of a snack bar, but the staff is friendly, the food is tasty, and the price is right. No wonder the place is always busy.
