For backpackers who like to chill out and meet lots of gezellige people, the Flying Pig is the place to be—and the few doubles are some of the best-value accommodations in town. The price includes not only breakfast and sheets, but also Internet, guided tours, and the use of in-line skates (so lace up and explore the park, or join the once-weekly night skate throughout the city). You don't need much money to have a good time here: the bar claims to serve the cheapest beer in town, and you can cook your own meal in the communal kitchen. If you're traveling with an amour or don't mind sharing with a friend, the best deal is to book a queen-size bunk in one of the dorms. The admittance policy is strict: if you're under 18, you'll have to look elsewhere. There's also a Flying Pig Hostel downtown.
