Cozy and romantic White Owl offers a truly eclectic menu: a hybrid of Dutch, Mediterranean, and Spanish cooking with interesting combinations that, when they work (more often than not), produce some of the most exciting flavors in Amsterdam. As an added bonus, most products on the frequently changing menu are organic—though do keep in mind that dishes (like the smoked mackerel with cucumber coulis or the wontons with mascarpone, ginger, and lemongrass) are small, so order at least two plates per person to avoid walking away hungry. That would be a crime, here.
