Overlooking the Maas, this posh restaurant, run by chef-owner Cees Helder, is said to be popular among the harbor barons, who can oversee their dockside territory from the bay windows of this tastefully modern, semicircular building. Tables are covered with cream-color linens and wood-frame chairs are elegantly upholstered. The service here is as effortlessly attentive as you would expect from one of Holland's top three restaurants. Luxuries such as truffles are added to the freshest ingredients, with the day's menu dictated by the availability of the best produce at that morning's markets. Kudos and salaams are offered up by diners to many of the chef's specialties, including the grilled turbot with an anchovy mousse and crispy potatoes.
