Fodor's Review:
A Bergen classic, this hotel attracts important people, from prime ministers to musicians. The architecture is modern, with large salmon-color, dark-wood rooms that blend contemporary Scandinavian comfort with traditional warmth. The restaurant T. G. I. Fridays has American-style fare, and the Contra Bar and Library Bar are popular with locals and visitors alike. The Metro nightclub is packed on weekends. The hotel's fresh smörgåsbord breakfast is the perfect way to start your day. Ask for a room facing Lille Lungegårdsvann for a scenic view. Rooms facing Ole Bulls plass can be noisy at night.
