Dr. Holms Hotel Review

Built in 1909 as a sanitorium for asthma sufferers, the building is now a well-established resort hotel. Resembling a luxury mountain cabin, the hotel has elegantly decorated rooms and panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. Its Brasserie restaurant serves Continental-Norwegian dishes. Have drinks by the fire in the classy Ski bar, one of Norway's most popular après-ski bars. You can read in the peaceful (2,000 volume-strong) library, bowl a game at the hotel diner's bowling alley, or be pampered in the Japanese-style Dr. Holms Spa, the only Shiseido spa in Scandinavia. Make reservations well in advance.
