Lom Stavkyrkje (Lom Stave Church)

Lom Stavkyrkje (Lom Stave Church) Review

One of Norway's oldest and most beautiful stave churches, Lom Stavkyrkje, dates to the 12th century and still is the principal church in Lom. Its oldest section is Romanesque; the church was enlarged in 1634. Wood-carver Jakop Sæterdalen created the choir stalls and the pulpit. The church's baroque painting collection is one of Norway's largest.
