Fodor's Review:
Just above the Holmenkollen ski jump and therefore with sweeping mountain views, this is possibly Oslo's most famous restaurant. Popular with locals and travelers, it specializes in fish and game. The scrumptious apple cake is legendary, and perfect for dessert or for an afternoon treat with coffee. Eating reindeer in brown sauce with local tittebær (red berries) at Frognerseteren would have to be the ultimate Norwegian experience. Take the Holmenkollbanen to the end station and then follow the signs downhill to the restaurant.
