Astrup Fearnley Museet (Astrup Fearnley Museum of Modern Art)

Astrup Fearnley Museet (Astrup Fearnley Museum of Modern Art) Review

This privately funded museum has earned an international reputation for its postwar Norwegian and international art. In its smaller gallery, British artist Damien Hirst's disturbing installation Mother and Child Divided is on display. The museum's permanent collection includes works by international artists, such as Andy Warhol, Jeff Koons, Damien Hirst, Mari Slaatelid, Takashi Murakami, Matthew Barney, Charles Ray, and Liu Wei.
