Side Trips from Oslo: Places to Explore
Drøbak
Drøbak's pretty collection of white wooden houses and small winding streets gives the impression of a typical Sørlander (southern) town, yet it is only one hour's drive from the capital. Oslovians often take day trips to Drøbak to sit by the beach and eat fresh shrimp. During World War II Norwegian forces sank the German cruiser Blucher here.
