Tregaardens Julehus (Christmas House)

Tregaardens Julehus (Christmas House) Review

The inviting Tregaardens Julehus dominates the town's central square. Just around the corner from the post office, this 1876 building was once a mission for seafarers unable to reach Oslo because the fjord was frozen over. Now it's a retail store that sells Christmas wares and gifts such as wooden dolls and mice made of cloth—all handmade by Eva Johansen, the store's creator and owner. Many Norwegian children believe Father Christmas resides in Drøbak because there's a Santa's post office in this store.
