Norsk Skieventyr (Norwegian Skiing Adventure Center)

Norsk Skieventyr (Norwegian Skiing Adventure Center) Review

The Norsk Skieventyr in Morgedal guides you through the 4,000-year history of the winter sport with life-size exhibits of typical ski cottages and authentic skis and costumes. Displays include the inside of Norway's original and last ski-wax factory, where specialists melted a variety of secret ingredients, including cheese, to make uphill and downhill slides smoother. Visit Norheim's cottage, Øvrebø, above the edge of the forest, where the Olympic flame was lighted. Several action-packed skiing films can be seen here.
